Receptionist

The Children’s Clinic is seeking a qualified person to serve as receptionist for our front desk/patient check-in. As the first point of contact for our patients and their families, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience at our clinic. Duties:

  • Patient Check-In: Greet patients and their families warmly, verify their information, and guide them through the check-in process.

  • Payment Collection: Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and other payments while maintaining accurate records.

Billing Representative

The Children’s Clinic is seeking a qualified person to serve as billing representative. This position is essential to maintaining accurate billing processes and ensuring our patients receive the best possible experience. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with medical billing systems.
 

Hours:

Duties:

  • Insurance Verification: Confirm and validate patient insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
  • Claims Management: Build and submit accurate insurance claims in a timely manner, adhering to all regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Claim Denials Resolution: Analyze and resolve claim denials efficiently to minimize delays in reimbursement.
  • Patient Chart Updates: Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient information in charts and billing systems.

Full-Time and Part-Time APRN

The Children’s Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a strong work ethic and a passion for pediatric healthcare to join our team.

Hours:

Full-Time:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • One extended day per week: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays (Optional): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Part-Time:

  • Flexible schedule based on clinic needs


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current APRN license in the state of Arkansas. (Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner preferred)
  • Experience in pediatrics or a strong interest in working with children and families
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask efficiently
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues when needed
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric conditions independently, with physician support as needed
  • Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education
  • Knowledge of pediatric intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, vaccinations, and common procedures


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
  • Administer vaccinations, medications, and other necessary treatments
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Obtain prior authorizations for medications, testing, and procedures when required
  • Educate parents and guardians on preventative care, growth milestones, and treatment plans
  • Provide telehealth consultations when applicable
  • Address patient and parent inquiries, offering guidance and medical advice via phone or in-person visits
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and continuous patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Full-Time LPN or RN

Hours:

  • Monday- Friday 8 am-5 pm, 8 am – 6 pm one day a week
  • Occasional Saturdays 9 am – 12 pm (optional)

  • Ordering diagnostic testing/imaging and obtaining prior authorizations, as necessary.
  • Aiding in continuation of care by addressing question/concern phone calls from parents with assistance from the provider, as necessary.

Lab Tech/Phlebotomist

The Children’s Clinic is seeking a qualified person to fill out Lab Tech/Phlebotomist position. This person will work with patients to collect samples and performa testing, as well as recording testing results in patient records.
 

Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8am-6pm.
Some Saturdays may be required.

Duties:

  • Obtain blood samples for testing.
  • Collects and perform testing on samples via blood, urine, swabs, etc.
  • Record results in medical records.
