Please note a change in TCC’s current practices:
From this point on we will send referrals for urgent care visits performed at times outside of regular clinic hours (M-F 8 am to 5 pm, and Sat 9 AM-Noon, but we are closed on major holidays). Please note, that urgent care is normally staffed by providers that have very minimal pediatric training. Emergency room visits do not require referrals if they are deemed a true emergency.
Referrals will be sent during normal clinic hours if these criteria are met.
Families, please note that we frequently have problems getting medical records from these visits and we need YOU to obtain a copy of labs and x-ray results (and if you want to get a copy of the X-ray on the disc that would be a good idea) and a take-home report describing diagnosis and what was done. Without this information, it is extremely difficult to provide adequate follow-up.
The list of available urgent care in our areas is as follows:
Jonesboro
- SBRMC — First Care Location:
Parker Road only sees patients 3 months of age and older and hours from operation outside clinic hours are M-F from 5 to 9 PM, Sat from Noon-9 PM, and Sunday from Noon-9 PM.
Red Wolf/Stadium only sees patients 3 months of age and older and hours from operation outside clinic hours are M-F from 5 to 9 PM, Sat from Noon-9 PM, and Sunday from Noon-9 PM. - NEA — Urgent Care Locations
Windover and they will see patients 6 months of age and above, and hours of operation outside of clinic hours are M-F from 5-9 PM and nothing to offer on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM-Noon.
Hilltop will see patients 6 months of age and above, and hours of operation outside of clinic hours are M-F from 5-9 PM, Saturday from Noon to 8 PM, and Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm.
Woodsprings and they will see patients 6 months of age and older and really only availability is Monday-Thursday 5-6 PM and Sunday 8-Noon
Stadium’s hours are Sunday 8 AM to Noon.
Paragould
- SBRMC — First Care location
Linwood and they only see patients 3 months of age and older and hours from operation outside clinic hours are M-F from 5 to 9 PM, Sat from Noon-9 PM, and Sunday from Noon-9 PM. - NEA Location and they will see patients 6 months of age and above, and hours of operation outside of the clinic hours are M-F nothing, Saturday nothing, and Sunday from 8 AM to Noon.
Pocahontas
- First Choice Health Care — Saturday Noon-4 PM
Kennett
- SBRMC — First care location
1st Street-3 months of age and above. M-F 5 PM-730PM, Sat-Noon to 730PM, and Sun-Noon to 730 pm
