Dr. Adam Hurst grew up in Jonesboro where he attended Jonesboro High School. He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Ouachita Baptist University. He received his M.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2009 after which he went to the University of Alabama – Birmingham for pediatric residency training. Upon completion of residency in 2016, he was chosen to serve as Chief Resident of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Alabama. He completed his chief year in June 2017 just prior to returning to Jonesboro to join The Children’s Clinic. Dr. Hurst is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

He is married to Dr. Mallory Hurst, a dermatologist at St. Bernard’s. They have one daughter, Margaret born in 2015, and are expecting another daughter this year. He enjoys running, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors with his family and their golden doodle, Cooper.
