Dr. Warren Skaug has practiced at the Children’s Clinic since 1980. Dr. Skaug grew up in Northern Michigan where he still has a number of Scandinavian relatives. He attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency in pediatrics at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Skaug is past president of the Arkansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and continues to be active within that organization.
Dr. Skaug’s wife, Phyllis is also a pediatrician at The Children’s Clinic. They have two adult sons and three grandchildren. The Skaugs like to fish on the White River and travel when the spare time comes along. One of Dr. Skaug’s greatest pleasures is seeing his patients grow up and return with children of their own.
